Production sound mixer and VO artist Carl Welden is a longtime veteran of theater, radio, film and live event production.
Whether he’s onstage, backstage, in studios, or on location, Carl is grateful to be able to make a living with microphones throughout northeast (but especially at home in the Catskills and Hudson Valley).
He has recorded sound on projects for Disney, NBC/Peacock, ESPN, NPR, the NEA, Fox Sports, Discovery Channel, Amazon Prime, HGTV, Bloomberg, Google, Tesla, Adobe Creative, General Electric, Target, IBM, Toyota, Dunkin, Boston Scientific, Jeep, Air BnB, H&R Block, AARP, Invicta and many more
He’s worked with HUDSY on many occasions since its early days as well as serving as a sound workshop facilitator at their apprenticeship program. When not capturing dialogue on set, he is often lecturing on sound for many other film organizations and media institutions throughout the tristate region.
