Daniela Velez, CFRE (she/her) is a seasoned fundraising professional with a passion for supporting changemakers at the intersection of creativity and social impact She currently serves as the Manager of Institutional Giving at Lifetime Arts, a national nonprofit that champions creative aging as vital to health, wellbeing, and lifelong learning. Her experience spans institutional giving, government relations, and nonprofit arts advocacy. Daniela also runs her own art business, Wild Hudson Studio. A passionate advocate for film and media, Daniela is committed to uplifting stories that are often overlooked in mainstream media. She has secured grants from prestigious organizations such as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Ford Foundation, and the David Rockefeller Fund. Additionally, she has participated on panels for NYSCA, ArtsWestchester, Arts MidHudson, and FilmEx 2021. Her consultancy work includes collaborations with the Center for Artistic Activism, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, and the TIDE Film Festival. Daniela has also held positions at the Jacob Burns Film Center, the Culinary Institute of America, and The Art Effect of the Hudson Valley. Having resided in the Hudson Valley for over 20 years, she is deeply invested in the region’s artistic and cultural community. A Certified Fund Raising Executive, Daniela holds degrees from SUNY New Paltz and Dutchess Community College.
