Joey Carey is a founding partner of Sundial Pictures. He’s worked on films across a variety of genres, both scripted and documentary, and filled a range of roles from Director, Producer, Cinematographer, and Editor. Titles include This Much We Know, Amazing Grace, Los Ultimos Frikis, This Organic Life, Cuban Food Stories, Emmy nominated Welcome to Leith, Havana Skate Days, The Seventh Fire, Obvious Child, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Pariah, Jack of the Red Hearts, and Youth In Oregon. Sundial Pictures has premiered films at Sundance, Berlin, SXSW, Tribeca, and Toronto, and partnered with distribution companies such as A24, Magnolia Pictures, Focus Features, Samuel Goldwyn, and Oscilloscope. Joey has produced for clients such as Univision, Conde Nast, Fusion, Repetto, JD Sports, and DoorDash. When not working in film, he spends his time helping grow the sustainable slow-fashion brand “Dador” in Havana, Cuba.
