Production Assistant / Producer / Radio Host – Otilio, also know by Shaman Vybez,is a self-taught creative professional with a rich background in DJing, photography, lighting, and audio production. Born in Newburgh, NY, and raised in Spanish Harlem and the Bronx, he developed a passion for visual storytelling at a young age, starting with film photography at the Boys Club of New York. His early work earned him admission to the School of Art and Design in Manhattan.
In the late 1980s, Otilio taught himself DJing, mastering the craft through observation and determination when the internet was non existent. He has performed at venues from Florida to New York, sharing stages with DJs he once admired. His expertise in the art of music and photography spans weddings, music events, and corporate productions, where he has honed skills in team leadership, problem-solving, and on-the-spot decision-making.
Currently, Otilio is venturing into the world of film, eager to collaborate with experienced professionals and expand his storytelling abilities. His dedication to impactful storytelling aligns with HUDSY’s mission to unite and empower the Hudson Valley through diverse narratives. If he’s not rocking a dance crowd with his playlist, he’s looking at the world thru his lens.”
