Sofia Guadarrama (she/her) is a Mexican-American filmmaker dedicated to crafting compelling visual narratives, focusing on social realism, identity, and human experience. Cinematography to her is the universal visual language to cultivate a world of empathy. She is passionate about equitable representation in production, promoting safe and inclusive workplaces in the industry. Sofia also draws inspiration from her experience as a pageant titleholder, adolescence, and culture; blending her creativity and advocacy to inspire change through storytelling. She is currently pursuing her MFA at USC School of Cinematic Arts.
